These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Waiterful Limited's platform, both on our website located at https://waiterful.com/ and our mobile application. By accessing or using Waiterful's platform, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms or any part of them, you must not use our platform.
Terminology:
The term "User" or "You" refers to the person accessing and using our platform, be it as a customer or a restaurant employee. "Waiterful", "The Company", "We", "Our", and "Us" refers to Waiterful Limited.
Cookies:
To enhance your experience on our platform, we employ the use of cookies in line with Waiterful Limited's Privacy Policy.
License:
The intellectual property rights of all content and materials on Waiterful belong to Waiterful Limited. You may access our platform for personal use, but you must not republish, sell, rent, or redistribute any material from Waiterful without our express, written permission.
User Interactions:
Waiterful provides a platform for users to interact, post rates, and exchange opinions. While we strive to maintain a positive environment, we cannot oversee every interaction. However, we reserve the right to monitor and remove content we deem inappropriate.

Organizations or individuals wishing to link to our platform should do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation. Use of Waiterful Limited's logo or other branding for linking requires a separate agreement.
Content Liability:
Waiterful is not responsible for content posted by users on our platform. However, we expect all users to adhere to a standard of respect and professionalism in their interactions.
Declaration of Tips:
Waiters and waitresses using the Waiterful platform are responsible for declaring any tips received from guests. In accordance with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) regulations:
If you retain tips received directly from customers via our platform, you must report them to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
Tips must be reported in one of the following ways:
- In a Self Assessment tax return, if you have already completed one.
- Through your personal tax account online.
- By contacting HMRC directly.
Following the report, HMRC may adjust your tax code as necessary. Your employer will then deduct any owed tax on tips from your salary. Note: You will not be required to pay National Insurance on these tips.
If the amount you receive in tips changes significantly, it is your responsibility to update your personal tax account or contact HMRC. This ensures accurate tax deductions throughout the year.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. By continuing to use our platform, you agree to abide by these terms.
